Amazing farm to table food. Excellent French cuisine that doesn't require a special occasion. Beautiful restaurant and 5 star food. The owners keep it casual enough to come for dinner anytime. Food is fresh and all herbs, etc grown onsite. Hopefully the locals of New Orleans will discover this hidden gem and give it the attention it deserves. Bar has been modernized with TV's and great conversation. This place is a must when we visit the New Orleans area. Grab a friend or family member and go treat yourself to a meal you'll remember. You'll be glad you did.
Found out today that John Besh has sold La Provence and I was instantly worried as to its future. After reading and learning that the new owners have been managing La Provence for several months and have every intention of keeping the history, food, atmosphere AND farm the same, my concerns have eased and we will be back soon for more of what we've already experienced from them.

Had diner for a special occasion here about a month ago. Food was amazing! Atmosphere was great for a nice evening and staff was very pleasant and accomadating. After dinner we got a nice tour of the farm out back and the kitchen where the meats are cured.
